Rise of the Tomb Raider: What is the gameplay of Tom Raider?

Rise of the Tomb Raider is an action-adventure video game produced by Crystal Dynamics. It’s the successor to the 2013 video game, Tomb Raider, and the eleventh in the Tomb Raider series. Her story follows Lara Croft as she travels into Siberia in the exploration of the ancient city of Kitezh while struggling against the paramilitary group Trinity, which aims to expose the town’s pledge of immortality.

Lara must go through the world and battle enemies with weapons and stealth as she enters semi-open hubs. In these hubs, she can raid the tombs to obtain new rewards, complete side quests, and scavenge supplies that can be used to craft valuable materials.

Creation of the Tomb Raider Raises closely followed the end of the 2013 reboot creation. Player input was considered during creation, with the team reducing the number of quick-time activities and adding more puzzles and obstacle tombs. The team traveled to a variety of locations in Turkey, including Cappadocia, Istanbul, and Ephesus, to design Kitezh. Camilla Luddington reunited to help Lara with voice and motion-capture work. Driven by the Foundation engine, the game has also been produced by Eidos Montreal and Nixxes Software.

About the gameplay of the Rise of the Tomb Raider:

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a third-person action-adventure game where players control Lara Croft, who’s on a journey to find the mythical city of Kitezh. Fighting is a major gaming mechanic; Lara has a wide range of weapons at her fingertips (including assault rifles, shotguns, and pistols), most of which have an alternative method of shooting.
Players can also use stealth to advance through parts of the game, use bows and arrows to remove opponents, create distractions to attract enemy attention away from Lara, or hide in the bushes to avoid opponents. Lara can use the area to battle monsters, fire explosive barrels, break down rope-wrapped obstacles with rope arrows, or surprise monsters from high ground. She can even use her pickaxe and knife to fight melee with her opponents.

Completing targets and side content and reducing enemies will give players experience points (XPs). When players gain enough XP they level up, earning a skill point that can be expended on the three skill trees of the game: the brawler, the tracker, and the survivor. Brawler increases Lara’s weapons performance by granting her powers, such as collecting arrows from corpses and a steady target, as well as improving her resistance to attack and unlocking new fighting capabilities, such as dodge killing.

Hunter gives her an edge when it comes to the climate and wildlife. Survivor has a wide variety of abilities, such as making incendiary bombs and setting booby traps. Lara discovers new languages, allowing her to find relics (such as coins) that can be exchanged for new supplies.

What’s the duration of Rising of the Tomb Raider?

Rise of the Tomb Raider is about 20-hours long, but it’s not quite enough time to do it all. Rise of the Tomb Raider producer Crystal Dynamics addressed the duration of the game in a recent interview, confirming that it would take around 15 to 20 hours to complete the main mission.

Which one is better Rise of the Tomb Raider or Tomb Raider 2013?

The game is just not that good. It’s certainly not as good or better as the reboot of the 2013 Tomb Raider. The game seems to have a fantastic opening, but unfortunately, everything gets downhill quite quickly from there.
